The Danger is Real
Research supports that house fires burn much hotter and faster than they did 20 or 30 years ago. During the 1970s, a family may have had up to 20 minutes to evacuate a house fire. However, homes today contain more man-made (synthetic) materials that burn much faster, leaving families with as little as two minutes to escape a fire. October is designated as National Fire Prevention Month to remind Americans about the importance of fire safety.
